Lake County Pride (LCP) Organization is the only registered 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to LGBTQIA+ youth and young adults in Lake County, Florida. Since 2019, we have been committed to improving and enhancing the lives of the LGBTQIA+ and questioning youth, teens, and young adults of Lake County through counseling, education, and community service initiatives. We have come so far in our short five years. From offering free counseling and vital mental health support with two licensed therapists in an open, accepting, affirming, safe place. There are always free arts and crafts, projects, and activities to use, along with something to eat at no charge to the kids.
We host a Community Sidewalk Pantry filled twice a month with food and necessities for homeless individuals and impoverished families. It has fed hundreds of people throughout Mount Dora, Tavares, and the Eustis area. LCP has had several setbacks over the last year, impacting the organization on many levels. We are asking our community and other organizations to come together with us so we can continue positively influencing and supporting the entire LGBTQIA+ community along with the rest of Lake County's citizens. Please help keep Lake County Prides' doors open and serve our community.
Lake County Pride Organization Corp. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so all donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Our major expenses are rental fees for venue space, website services, printing, postage, insurance, and supplies for this all-volunteer organization. Revenue is generated through special events, corporate sponsorships, foundations, and general public contributors.
